I created these illustrated headers to add visual interest to the WGU Labs’ LinkedIn newsletter, “Inside the Learning.” I drew a new variation approximately every six months featuring a different character. My team opted for a loose watercolor style for these illustrations to convey the creative and sometimes “messy” process of research and iteration, as the goal of this newsletter is to share frank insights.

With the success of the newsletter, the team branched out into doing a podcast as well. I drew the following image to serve as the podcast cover in the same style. The cover features “Sophie,” a recurring character and unofficial mascot in my illustrations for WGU Labs.
